Nelson Vails Story

A documentary about Nelson Vails, the first and only African-American medalist at the 1984 Olympic games in Los Angeles.

There is a crowdfunding project to produce a movie about him. If you can, you should consider funding.

Late 1960s Carlton

Beautiful, late 1960s Carlton. Original finish, and it appears the only components updated are the tires.

Milremo cranks, probably produced by Stronglight but stamped Milremo. TA chainrings.
Zeus dropouts and Campagnolo Record rear derailleur.
Late 1960s GB stem, with raised lip around the stem binder bolt. That was discontinued around 1969-1970, next version did not have the raised lip,  or the red sticker GB handlebar binder bolt, or the red size sticker(90mm). The GB Tourmalet (map of England) handlebars are beautiful as well.

Customer bicycle - Early 1970s Cinelli SC with fenders

One of our favorite customers brought in his Cinelli Speciale Corsa for us to service. It is extremely difficult to find Cinelli fenders and the green ones he has actually look quite nice with original Cinelli paint. Full Campagnolo Nuovo Record group.

Shame someone drilled the seatpost?? and it is needs the correct Cinelli seat binder bolt. He has 2 out of the 3 pieces.

We replaced the longer dropout screws with some shorter ones.

Experiments in speed- building the ultimate speed bike

Experiments in speed. Inspired by those great men of the salt flats, those men that in the 60s pushed the Land Speed Record from the 300s up towards the 600mph mark in jet-propelled cars built in their sheds. We decided to do what we do: build a bicycle, but this time, in the spirit of those pioneers of speed, build it to see how fast we could go…
