Team Schwinn Paramount track bike

 With it business slowing down this winter, we have a chance to clean up and photograph some of our bikes we have up stairs. Here is a Team Schwinn track bike. Outfitted with lightened Campagnolo hubs laced to Schwinn Approved rims. Titan chrome steel stem and handlebars. Unicanitor track saddle. Still has the original Clement Seta track tires, but they are not holding air.

September 25, 1936, Piet van Kempen track-standing at the track in Wembley, UK the morning of a six day cycling event. 
He was known as the "King of the Six Day" and "The Flying Dutchman", from the Netherlands.

Bastide pedal

 Sorting out some pedals at the shop I came across this rare Bastide stamped pedal. It is probably made by Lyotard. Hopefully the other side will surface but we do commonly buy stray pedals with the idea that we will find the other side in the future.
