1930s track bike with diamond tubing
Unknown builder with incorrect fork. It does have Pop Brennan decal on the headtube, but we do not believe it was built by him. It may have been worked on or repaired by him. The lugs are finely filed, rather uncommon from this time period. The rear triangle is built with diamond seat and chain stays, I have never seen a bike with this treatment. Unique CCM steel cotter-less cranks, wood wheels, and early Persons saddle. Any help in identifying????
Thinly filed lugwork.
CCM cotterless cranks. rare design with a triangle taper, rather than the later standardized square taper. BSA chainring.
Extremely long stem, with lamp bracket attached.
Early Persons racing saddle with saddle support attached.
Pop Brennan for Expert Sales Repair Work.
A brake as an afterthought. It clamps on the seatstays, and does not require the brake bridge to be drilled.
New Departure rear track hub.

Retro-Classic bike builds
(written Spring of 2011, I forgot to post)
I was recently look at Toei bikes in the book from New Cycling and on various websites and thought it was quite particular that they build up new frames using vintage parts. I have known that for a long time, and could even see some of the parts that I have sold used on some of the bikes, but it still seemed foreign. Toei has always been fascinated with vintage French bike builders like Rene Herse and Alex Singer, they started in the 1950s, when the look was not vintage.
An early build up of my Hanford, for a 300km ride in 2011. I was figuring out stem length and my front rack was not built yet.
A more current view of the Hanford is here from the summer of 2012.

Forks!
I am starting to sort out of the forks we have to offer. (well I put most of the nice ones together). Some forks in the lineup include a Bates Diadrant, Colnago 1970s pista, a couple British headclip forks, Zeus, Raleigh Professional, etc.
