Excellent vintage cycling film
Cycling Keeps me off the Streets- 1975?
Includes a young John Howard. I really like the Oscar Wastyn cycling hat.

George Wilkes, winning Irish Cyclist
In 1950, after winning the Belfast to Dublin Race.
As a member of Windsor CC and later Northern CC George represented
Ireland on numerous occasions throughout the 1950's. He was a former All
Ireland 50 Mile TT Champion and held two place to place records -
Belfast to Dublin and Belfast to Derry.
In later years George was prominent in promoting Youth Cycling in Ulster bringing teams to the ESCA championships and the Junior Tour.
Notice the handlebar mounted double waterbottles and bell. Appears to have Bowden brakes calipers and levers(very high end components)
True racing bike, not even a brazeon for a light bracket on the fork, which was ubiquitous at this time on British bikes. Spare tubular tire wrapped around his shoulders, the race must have been unsupported(riders had to fix their own bikes back then), unheard of now days.
I love the old jerseys with the pockets in the front, such a classic look.
Any more information on him would be greatly appreciated.
(Photograph comes courtesy of his son, who recently was bequeathed his father's 1952 Mercian frameset. Super nice dude too!)

CLB 1950s catalog
A very interesting crank shorting adapter. From the illustrations, it allows a young lady to ride I bicycle that is too big for her.
I didn't realize CLB offered so many different chainguards.

Red Schwinn Streamliner
This beautiful unrestored Schwinn Streamliner was for sale at a recent swap meet and sold immediately. Luckily I was able to take a few pictures before it was wheeled away.
The owner claimed that batteries were never installed in the horn.

Pierce Arrow
Pierce Arrow. As you can see, there are a couple strange things about this bike. The hanging tank is incorrect, and there is no need for that lamp mounted to the fork, and the wheels are incorrect. I date this from the 1910s.
Very nice bend to the racing handlebars.
Beautiful Mesinger Supreme Racer seat, I don't think I have ever seen one so nice before.
Incorrect New Departure Model D coaster brake hub. "black out" produced during WWII.
Interesting offset placement of the seattube.

Nice bikes seen at Trexlertown Fall swap
Near mint Team Fuji track frameset
Wheels upon wheels! Suntour Superbe Pro and Campagnolo Nuovo Record in Raleigh and Suntour wheel coverings.
Limited edition Campagnolo belt buckles.
Alvin Drysdale Velox, with 2 trophies and plaque. Very nice piece.
Hetchins.
Funny bike with a Cyclart repaint.
Pierce Arrow.
Gormully and Jeffery Rambler No. 12. 1891-1892.
Early 1970s Schwinn Paramount track bike.
Pile of 3 early bicycles, 1890s-1900s. Racycle, American(Chicago), ???
I like the different tread patterns on the tires, so it leaves a nice trail. One is 'chaintread' and the other leaves X's.
