My painted Hanford frame!
Me and my framebuilder Simon Firth traveled north today to pick up my frameset from the Peter Weigle, who painted it. I pulled a lot of strings and traded a lot of favors to have one of the top framebuilders in the world to paint my first frame. It came out better than I could have imagined. Love at first site. I cannot wait to build it up and ride it. It has has to have the logos handpainted on, that is going to look very sharp, and have some nice subtle luglining. Yes, It will be at the Brooklyn Bicycle Jumble this weekend in NYC. more info about the bike swap meet here.

Picture of my 1960s Rochet

This Picture was taken a couple weeks ago at the New York City Bicycle Photo Booth. I decided to take the Chinatown bus up to New York City to have my bicycle picture taken by Keiko Niwa
and to support my friend Harry Schwartzman. More photos of bicycles and people that attended here on the NYC Bicycle Jumble website.

Johnny Coast is a frame builder
What a beautiful bicycle! I saw this bike at the NY Bike Jumble, Sept 13th 2009. I love the fillet-lug treatments on the head lugs and seat cluster. Johnny Coast of Coast Cycles builds bicycles in Brooklyn, NYC.

Report from the NY Bicycle Jumble
So the second New York Bike Jumble went off without a hitch. The weather was perfect, like the one in the spring. It was well organized and well attended and their were once again awesome bicycles to see and buy.
Below are a couple pictures showing some of the cool bicycles.
