Vintage bike ride- 100km ride in NJ

(Not our ride and we are not affliated with it or anything, we will be riding it though, on our vintage bikes. fun to air out these dusty ol' things. )

VINTAGE VAGABOND 100KM


Presented by Vintage Vagabonds, Kermesse Sport, and Tandems East

Sunday, May 20th
10AM Departure
Brooklawn, NJ

This “classic inspired” ride will travel from the bustling center of Gloucester County to the bucolic farm roads of Salem County, stopping at New Dodges Market in Elmer for a catered lunch. This is a fully supported ride, but riders are expected to look after themselves.

Vintage bicycles and tandems MUST meet the following standards for entry:

-Road racing bicycle, built BEFORE 1987
-Steel frame (the only aluminum frame bikes permitted are ALAN or VITUS with either screwed or glued joints)
-Downtube shifters (only pre-1980 bar-end shifters are allowed)
-Pedals with toe clips and straps (Except for Cinelli M71 pedals)
-No MTBs

***New bicycles with steel frames may be used but must be built with vintage components***

Fixed Gear bikes must have at least one working brake

Helmets required

Route map and cue sheets will be provided prior to the event.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia (http://www.bicyclecoalition.org/)

Additional lunch tickets can be purchased for $10 per person. Have your family meet us at Dodges!
