Cinelli badged track stem and Cinelli chrome steel track handlebars #18. (the stembadge screws are not original, but brass reproductions)
black sidewall Continental sprinter tires.

The paint is original and shows some scratches and wear, but still shiny and great! drilled for a front brake, not drilled for a rear brake.

1930s track bike with diamond tubing

 Unknown builder with incorrect fork. It does have Pop Brennan decal on the headtube, but we do not believe it was built by him. It may have been worked on or repaired by him. The lugs are finely filed, rather uncommon from this time period. The rear triangle is built with diamond seat and chain stays, I have never seen a bike with this treatment. Unique CCM steel cotter-less cranks, wood wheels, and early Persons saddle. Any help in identifying????

Retro-Classic bike builds

(written Spring of 2011, I forgot to post)
 I was recently look at Toei bikes in the book from New Cycling and on various websites and thought it was quite particular that they build up new frames using vintage parts. I have known that for a long time, and could even see some of the parts that I have sold used on some of the bikes, but it still seemed foreign.  Toei has always been fascinated with vintage French bike builders like Rene Herse and Alex Singer, they started in the 1950s, when the look was not vintage.

Tour de France bicycle exhibit in France
