Ganna Italian race bicycle

Here is a nice original Ganna bicycle. Italian bike that was named after Luigi Ganna, the first ever winner of the Giro d'Italia. Im not sure if he was the builder or just a name on the bikes.

Beautiful chromed headlugs and forkcrown.

seat tube oiler- to oil the chain.

interesting seatlug

cool "G" in the rear dropout. Simplex rear derailleur

A Zerk fitting on the bottom bracket spindle, to inject grease into the BB bearings

How come they don't make brakes positioned like that anymore? It looks pretty ergonomical to me...

The reason they do not help to make brakes situated like this any longer? This appears fairly ergonomical in my experience.
