After posting photos of the lamp brackets for the Raleigh, I thought it might be inclusive to then also post pictures of the light that would fit on it. It slides onto the bracket. It is battery powered, not that bright. This is new old stock. $45

Lucifer Baby! light for sale
New in original box, Lucifer front light/generator combo set. What a great looking box and equally great looking light. Mounts to the fork and is a self contained unit, no need to fumble with wires. Made in Switzerland. Lucifer lights were commonly outfitted on British bikes, including a couple Jack Taylors we have and I have seen it on a Hurlow as well.
Oh yeah, great name too.
$150

Wartime headlight

During World War 2, cyclist still had to ride their bikes to get from place to place and still needed lights on their bikes. To avoid being seen from above by enemy planes, they came up with the idea of concealing the light beams. I am not sure how effective it was, or more importantly, how necessary, but here is an example of one such headlight.

Radios rear taillight with a Rebour twist
I just realized that the Radios rear taillight that I had for years is the same one that I have the original Daniel Rebour drawing of. I have had about 10 of these taillights over the years and have never noticed it was the same one in the drawing. 1st world problem.
