I was going through some paper today and forund this gem. it is a RRA catalog from 1950. I believe it come out of the Hill Cycle shop here in Philadelphia. Cool fold out catalog with component updates fro 1950. Great graphics and colors too. I like that it folds out and essentially becomes a poster, suitable for framing!

1937 Raleigh Record Ace we recently sold.
We recently got this 1937 Raleigh Record Ace (RRA) and sold it to a discerning collector within 24 hours. I did not even have time to photograph it properly. These bikes are my favorite pre-war British lightweight / club machines. Maybe someday I too will have the opportunity to own one. The photos are as found condition, it needs some bits, and to have some things removed, but it is correct where it counts. We also got the correct handlebars with the bike, which were sold as part of the deal. I cant wait to see it after the new owner has had time to bring it back fully. Enjoy!

Early 1950s Raleigh Clubman
54cm seattube x 58cm toptube(both are center to center)
Bayliss and Wiley track hubs with Raleigh Record Ace front wingnuts, and aluminum axlenuts.
Dunlop Special Lightweight rims in excellent condition.
Early version GB Sport front brake and lever.
Lovely aluminum stem.
Headclip headset.
Brooks saddle- I believe it is a 1960s-1970s saddle.
Williams cranks set. Williams date code for the "AP" stamped cranks- 1952.
Reynolds 531 tubing.
Bicycle is straight, and finish is great considering the age. Some paint worn then (see photos), chrome is beautiful. No dents. Lower pump peg is broken off.

Raleigh Record Ace Post War brochure
We recently acquired a Raleigh Record Ace, Post War, that will soon be for sale. Looking through some recent catalogs, I found this brochure for the retooled RRA. Pretty cool. The bike was available with endless options, the closest to building a custom bike I have seen from a large bicycle manufacturer.
Amazing features. I am looking for one of those bag supports for our PreWar RRA. I had never noticed the braze on brake cable clips before until we got this bike.
