Amazing shop bike! early 1960's Carlton with International lug set

We have some pretty cool bikes in the shop's collection.

This is one of my favorites. It is an early 1960's Carlton. There are a couple reasons why I like this bike. First of course is the international lug set. Extremely ornate and well filed / thinned. The seat cluster with the ornate wrap over seat stays are quite elegant. The paint scheme is really sharp and the decals are the nicest I have ever seen from Carlton (in my opinion). The fork crown echoes the ornate lugs nicely. Borrowing a bit from Hetchins treatment perhaps but still all their own.The only thing that's missing is an arching rear brake bridge. I would not call the stays "pencil" but they are nice and thin.

I compare this bike at first glance to a Saluki, not the Rivendell bike, the dog. Very elegant and svelte. The second thing I like is that all the components are from smaller  British parts maker at the time. The British Hub Co. Airlite hubs, Williams crank set,  Benelux derailleurs and shifters, Mansfield saddle, GB Coureur 66' brakes, GB Superhood brake levers with hoods, and GB Maes bars. This is before Raleigh bought everything and is a nice example of what was available at the time from smaller firms doing their thing. So the overall picture is the last gasp of sorts of smaller British frame building and components. Enjoy!

Early 1950s Raleigh Clubman

54cm seattube x 58cm toptube(both are center to center)
Bayliss and Wiley track hubs with Raleigh Record Ace front wingnuts, and aluminum axlenuts.
Dunlop Special Lightweight rims in excellent condition.
Early version GB Sport front brake and lever.
Lovely aluminum stem.
Headclip headset.
Brooks saddle- I believe it is a 1960s-1970s saddle.
Williams cranks set. Williams date code for the "AP" stamped cranks- 1952.
Reynolds 531 tubing.
Bicycle is straight, and finish is great considering the age.  Some paint worn then (see photos), chrome is beautiful. No dents. Lower pump peg is broken off.

Tribune 3 seat tandem- Hill Cycle

Here is a photograph I recently ran across of the Jerry Casale and Jerry Casale Jr with their Tribune tandem. (middle rider is unknown). The Tribune is outfitted with Williams cranks, Cyclo rear derailleur, and British Hub Company large tandem drum hubs. That is one long Cyclo continuous cable.

Early 1960s Dunelt for sale 51.5cm

This bicycle poses the age old collector question- To part out a bicycle or keep it together?

This bike has such great parts on it, coveted by British bike collectors, but the frame is rather mundane. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful frame, with original finish, but it is not a marque like Hetchins or Ephgrave. We would not rob the parts off this bicycle.
Components include GB Spearpoint stem, GB Courier brakes with Super Hood brake levers, Cyclo Birmalux Super 60 rear derailleur and Cyclo Birmalux front derailleur. Dunlop Super Lightweight rims, Bluemels fenders, Williams crankset and Wrights "swallow" type saddle.
51.5cm (20 1/4")center to center seat tube
52.5cm (20 3/4")center to center toptube
